Company Profile

Capital Technology Group (CTG), based in Madison , Wisconsin , opened its doors in 2002. Brian Borland and Steve Johnston wanted to bring the word VALUE back to Value Added Reseller. Both Brian and Steve had worked for technology manufacturers, but saw the need for the liaison that could objectively watch the market, manufacturers, and trends in technology to bring options to customers.

In 2003, the Des Moines , Iowa office opened, expanding this successful concept to even more companies looking for that "value" from the reseller. And, in 2006, the Des Moines office expanded to include its own Systems Engineer to give local technology assistance to Iowa and Nebraska companies

What Sets Us Apart

CTG's approach to being a reseller is a little different than most. We partner with a few, Gartner Upper Right Quadrant, manufacturers to bring best in breed products to our customers. We do the work for our customers by researching what products have pulled ahead of their competition. This "smaller portfolio" approach lets us become experts in the technology and its value to the end user.
